Recently a waterfront homeowner asked me whether I thought it would be worth renovating their bathrooms. Yes. It’s worth it because you’ll enjoy them. It’s also worth it because buyers prefer updated bathrooms. This house wasn’t old enough to have the charm – just the typical small room with dated colors and fixtures. Without enlarging the space, clear glass and mirrors and interesting fixtures can enhance the space and make it feel bigger and live better. Nice tile adds appeal – and accent it with some designer tiles. Perhaps you want to choose from freestanding sinks and add creative, interesting storage in other ways. Use quality materials, quality construction and quality design – that’s a trifecta win.
