The Renaissance Vinoy Resort in downtown St Pete is sold

The Vinoy, a historic luxury hotel in downtown St Petersburg Florida has again changed hands – FelCor Lodging Trust Inc. of Irving, Texas, purchased this hotel, along with the Renaissance Esmeralda in Indian Wells, California, for $225 Million. Walton Street Capital purchased the Vinoy 2½ years ago and has since invested $5 Million in hotel renovations and $5 Million on rebuilding the marina.
