Dr Beach has named another Pinellas County Florida beach as America's #1

Dr. Beach began naming America’s #1 beach in 1991 and Florida has had 6 of them, two of them in Pinellas County on the west coast of Florida, most recently Caladesi Island, off the coast of Dunedin and Clearwater, and back in 2005 Ft. DeSoto Park, a St Petersburg beach just south of Tierra Verde.

Both of these have miles of white sand beaches and a natural environment. Some days it’s just you and the sea birds.
