After all the promises of reductions, let's see what really happened.

We have a 2,700 sq ft home, with a screened pool, on the water - a canal leading to boca Ciega Bay and the intercoastal waterway. We do not need separate windstorm insurance - just homeowners insurance and flood insurance. Here are the last 2 years premiums:

As you can see, we’re paying the same total as last year, even though the homeowners has reduced a bit. We’re still paying over twice what we were paying in 2005.

The good news, though, is that we can still get insurance.
