Newland Communities, developer of MiraBay in Apollo Beach, has withdrawn its application for new canals in Apollo Beach Golf Course community

Faced with resident opposition, Newland Communities, developer of MiraBay in Apollo Beach, Florida, has withdrawn its application for rezoning part of Apollo Beach Golf Course, which would have created new canals. Newland did not want to proceed without strong support from the community. It will, however, proceed with the development of new homes in the area adjcent to Mirabay.
