MacDill Air Force Base again hosts AirFest March 31 - April 1, 2007

After a year’s hiatus, MacDill AFB is again hosting their popular AirFest. This is one of the largest air shows put on by the Department of Defense. Appproximately 350,000 people are expected to attend each day. Expect traffic backups for miles. On base parking is usually filled well before the Blue Angels perform mid-afternoon. Busses will run from downtown Tampa.

For the first time, the MacDill AirFest is being held in Tampa the same weekend the Grand Prix races are held in downtown St. Petersburg. It will be a busy and exciting weekend.
