Although there isn’t much activity on the site at the northwest corner of 2nd St and 1st Ave N in downtown St Petersburg, there IS progress with the Grand Bohemian Hotel and Condos. Closing on the land is scheduled for mid-August and announcements should be forthcoming for the Grand Opening, groundbreaking and commencement of construction. Kessler is a winner and so are his projects. Having seen what an attraction the Grand Bohemian is in Orlando – it’s a main gathering point after the close of business for locals – I can’t wait to see that in downtown St. Pete as well.
